In 1990, the Ministry of Chemical Industry of P.R. of China set up a "Column Packings & Internals Technical Research and Popularization Center" in TUC. A high efficiency chemical column by using TUC's novel internals was nominated as an excellent example by the Ministry of Science & Technology of P.R of China.
